Fundamental Aquatic Skills - (6 to 14 years)
The objective of this workshop is to give participants success with fundamental skills and to introduce the beginning of true locomotion skills. In addition, participants start developing positive attitudes, effective swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water. Skills encompassed in this workshop include:
- Water adjustment, entries, and exits
- Breath control and submerging
- Changing direction and treading
- Combined arm and leg actions

What will you need?
Participants are required to bring a bathing suit and towel. Properly fitting goggles are highly recommended, and available for purchase in the Dive Center.
