The bottom section is made in aluminum,measuring 38 3/16 in (97 cm) in length, and the upper section is made inberglass, and is 33 7/8 in (86 cm) long. The aluminum section diameter is 5/8in (16 mm) and the berglass is 1/2 in (13 mm). Due to the lightness of theberglass, it is effortless to move the pole spear in the water, allowingswift movement.The aluminum handle guarantees a rm grip and stability. Theend is rounded with a hole for a rubber sling. The pieces are screwed togetherusing a resistant thread. Both the male and female tting features two spannerflats that allows tightening using a wrench. The berglass top ends with amale tting of 6 mm to be joined with a spear tip. The berglass section iscoated with a non-slip hand grip long 30 11/16 in (78 cm). The rubber sling ismade with 10 mm OD latex tube with cord inside, xed to the hole.
