Class Name:   Spearfishing Target Range (Pool)-Basics of operation

Age Req, Min Cert Level:   you must be 18 years or older or supervised by a guardian.

Class Size:   Max of 8 student.

Class Location/Venue:   Classroom and Confined Water Completed at Scuba Monkey Dive Center.

Class Length:   1-2 hrs

Come see what all the buzz is about! If you are an avid spearfisherman or curious about getting in to the sport, join us for a Spearfishing Range Night at Scuba Monkey Dive Center. You are welcome to bring your own speargun or try out one of ours sponsored by JBL, Omer, Riffe and Cressi! This event is open to Scuba and Freedivers. We always have an Instructor or Range Master in the water with you to assist divers and maintain range safety. Equipment can be rented separately. All tanks MUST have boots on them in order to protect the finish on the pool. Must bring certification card for check in.  Scuba Monkey Dive Club Members receive 50% off range admission. 

What will you learn? (Details of course)

Spearfishing commands a great deal of skill and dangers. Learning these core proficiencies can often be costly and dangerous. We teach the basic skills needed to safety operate and shoot many types of spearguns. You get to spend valuable time practicing without spending gas money to take a boat only to reload underwater for 10mins.

What extra will you need? (needed and provided)

 Swimsuit, Towel, Mask & Snorkel are required, we recommend Loading pad or wetsuit top, fins and choice speargun.
