Scuba Courses
There are many different types of wrecks, some of which are protected by laws that guard their historical and cultural significance. Your training starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks. During four dives you’ll learn: Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks. Surveying and mapping a wreck. Using penetration lines and reels to guide exploration. Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants

This exciting 2 day course will scratch that wreck itch for sure! Join us in Pompano Beach for 2 days of boat diving on some of the most renowned wrecks in the area all while learning the best and safest ways to explore them. We will dive The Okinawa, RSB-1 and The Captain Dan.
What gear will you need?
In addition to your regular dive kit, you will need Nitrox tanks (4), a DSMB (deployable surface marker buoy), whistle, compass, slate, reel with at least 100' of line and a light. Gloves and skin protection (rash guard / wetsuit) are highly recommended. Rental scuba kit and tanks are available with advanced notice.
Class Size: Max of 8 Students
PreRequisites: Must be at least 15yo and hold AOW and Nitrox Certifications
