Who should take this course?
Anyone who is curious about underwater ecology should take this specialty. During the nighttime hours, both freshwater and saltwater environments undergo significant changes. New players arrive in the form of plankton and small predators such as reef squid. Corals open their polyps and feed. You may not even recognize the reef you are familiar with as you find yourself in a new world.
What will you learn?
The PADI Night Diver specialty gives you the skills you need to safely and confidently navigate the underwater world after dark.
What gear will you need?
SCUBA gear will be required, and can be bought or rented at Scuba Monkey Dive Center. A dive light, backup light, and marker light are also required. Finally, you must have a compass for navigation.
