Class Title: Discover Scuba Diving - Open Water

Age Requirements: 10 Years+

Average Class Size: Max of 8 students per instructor (unless 10-11 year old present, then max is 4 students)

Class Location: Your course will take place at one of Florida's amazing freshwater springs! Locations vary based on conditions.

Class Length: 1-3 hrs

Who should take this course?

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover SCUBA Diving is for you.   While not a SCUBA certification course, Discover SCUBA Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. No prior experience with SCUBA diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. If you make the leap to certification within 12 months of this Discover course, we offer a $50 discount on your Open Water Class!

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. Get ready to:

Go over the SCUBA equipment you use to dive and learn how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.

Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.

Learn the key skills that you’ll use during every SCUBA dive.

Have fun swimming around and exploring!

What gear will you need?

We provide all gear for this course except for your swimsuit and towel. However, we recommend bringing your own mask & snorkel. All additional SCUBA gear will be provided during your course.

How do I enroll?

Sign up above! Reservations are only held when paid in full. Be advised that a $25 rescheduling fee will be applied if you wish to cancel or change your reservation within two weeks of your course begin date. Please fill out your PADI medical release as soon as possible, as it will need to be signed by your doctor before you can begin if you must answer "Yes" to any screening questions. Please feel free to contact us to schedule private courses that fit your schedule!
