Parent & Child L1(6 mon~3 yrs)
Level 1 introduces basic skills to parents and children. Parents learn how to safely work with their child in the water, including how to appropriately support and hold their child in the water and how to prepare and encourage their child to participate fully and try the skills. Children receive an introduction to basic skills that lay a foundation for learning to swim. In addition, parents are introduced to several water safety topics.

What will you need? Swimsuit, Towel, (2) Swim Diapers. Parent or Guardian must accompany each child in water
Class Age: 6 months to approximately 3 years
Class Size: Maximum class size of 6
Class Length: Each Session is 30 mins, Total of 8 Sessions (2x Per Week for 4 Weeks)
Class Location/Venue: Scuba Monkey Dive Center / Blue Lagoon in our indoor heated pool.
Prerequisite?
There are no prerequisites for this class. There must be an adult in the water with each child.
What do you need to bring?

What will you learn?
Skills: Entry and exit with a parent, getting wet, blowing bubbles, roll from back to front, leg action in the water, submerging mouth, nose, and eyes,as well as basic water safety.Skills: Introducing safe entries and exits for parents and child, acclimating to the water, cueing techniques, holding and support techniques, exploring the pool, breath control, floating, gliding and rolling. Each course will also cover some age appropiate safety topics for both children and adults.
