Class Location/Venue:  The indoor, heated pool at the "Blue Lagoon", part of Scuba Monkey Dive Center!

Class Length:  1 hour

Who should take this course?

Students entering taking this course must possess a Swimming Lessons Level 3 certificate or demonstrate all the Level 3 skills.

What will you learn?

In this course, students will learn how to properly fit and defog a snorkeling mask, how to clear their snorkel on the surface without lifting their head above the water, and to build fundamental and safety skills for snorkeling. They will even learn how to inflate a snorkel vest and to float comfortably and observe their environment.

What gear will you need?

Participants must have a swimsuit, towel, and properly fitting mask & snorkel. All of this can be purchased in the same building, at the Dive Center.
