SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Summer Camp (Ages 10–14) at Scuba Monkey Dive Center is an exciting program designed to introduce young adventurers to the world of scuba diving while earning their SDI Junior Open Water Diver certification. Students will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving through classroom sessions, confined water training in the pool, and real open water dives. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, campers will build confidence, master essential diving skills, and experience the thrill of exploring underwater environments.

Open water training dives will take place in beautiful Florida freshwater springs such as Manatee Springs State Park and Troy Spring State Park, providing clear water and ideal conditions for new divers to safely complete their certification.

Camp Details:

• Ages: 10–14 (Still a little young? We have you covered!)

• Certification: SDI Junior Open Water Diver

• Training: Pool-based confined water sessions and open water dives

• Locations: Local Florida springs including Manatee Springs and Troy Spring

• Focus: Dive safety, equipment use, buoyancy control, underwater communication, and environmental awareness

Complete the Medical Statement (with Physician Sign Off if necessary) and Liability Waivers. Complete Open Water Diver eLearning Course or Knowledge Review for Classroom.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to reschedule your class, please call us at 386-518-6323. If the cancellation is within 2 weeks of the course, a $25 Rescheduling Fee will apply. Refunds will be less any used / registered course materials
